In plain terms.
Failsafe™ is a SENTINEL protection line under which you and either of two designated Approvers approve every matching transfer.
Because either Approver can supply the co-approval alongside you, Failsafe is designed to reduce the risk that a single Approver’s unavailability leaves you unable to transact.
The pair law is absolute: the approving pair is always you plus one Approver. Your two Approvers can never move funds without you.

You designate two Approvers
You alone choose both Approvers and the conditions that put a transfer in scope, subject to our security verification and the confirm-signers ceremony.
SENTINEL holds the transfer
A matching transfer is held until you and at least one of the two Approvers have approved it. Each acts with their own portable post-quantum identity key.
Either one can clear it with you
If one Approver is travelling, asleep or unreachable, the other can act. SENTINEL enforces the configuration automatically; Vaulnox exercises no discretion.
What it is not.
- Neither Approver is a keyholder. Neither holds a key share that can move assets alone, and neither can initiate, redirect or compel a transfer.
- Two Approvers cannot act together against you. The structure requires your own approval on every matching transfer — the two non-owner Approvers can never combine to move funds.
- It creates no co-ownership and no fiduciary duty. No joint account, partnership or trust; you keep sole legal and beneficial title, and an Approver may decline for any reason.
Only one protection line may be active on a Vault at a time. Engaging Failsafe while Guardian is active requires standing down the other line first.
